Where horses and hunting meet! We offer full backcountry horseback hunting in the heart of elk country. We have three main elk camps that are a three hour horseback ride. All supplies will be packed on horses to camp and from there you continue to ride further to hunt. These camps are equipped with cabins, wood fire places and hot showers. Even with the amenities at hand these hunts are tough and you will be sore there's no doubt about it, but theres also nothing better than waking up to a bull bugling on the slide beside the cabin. Although we advertise fully horseback hunting our trails only go so far. You will be expected to hike/bushwhack in steep rugged terrain that can test your mental and physical abilities. Unable to do so will greatly impact your potential success. If physicality may be an issue we can always accommodate people with a mix of horseback or forest service road hunting.
